Seychelles Cruise – M/Y Pegasus

Indian Ocean Island MapThe twin-hulled Pegasus, built in 1992 and completely refitted in 1997 and renovated in the winter of 2009-2010, accommodates up to 49 guests in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere. On board you will enjoy magnificent sea views as you stroll the 2,550 square feet/ 240 m2 of open deck. You can relax with friends in the handsomely appointed lounge, browse in the well-stocked library or enjoy ocean-view dining in the convivial and spacious restaurant area. A platform located on the stern of the Pegasus enables you to swim, snorkel and paddle through the warm blue waters that surround you.

Day 1: Saturday – Mahe (Eden Marina) – Beau Vallon Bay or Bay Ternay

Embarkation is from 15:00 to 16:00 pm at the Eden Marina in Port Victoria. After the welcome cocktail and safety drill, you leave Port Victoria and sail north along Mahe northern coastline to reach Beau Vallon Bay to spend the night. A welcome dinner is served on board with overnight at anchor.

Day 2: Sunday – Aride Anse Lazio, Praslin

Leave Mahe Island early in the morning to reach Aride, a striking granite island north of Praslin. Your optional excursion will take you all the way to the top of the island for an amazing overview. In the afternoon you sail round to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Time for water sports, snorkelling or optional diving. The evening is at anchor.

Day 3: Monday – Cousin Island – Curieuse Island

In the morning sail to Cousin Island. Your optional excursion is to the Bird Sanctuary which is in the care of Bird Life International. In the afternoon sail on to Curieuse Island. Overnight at anchor.

Day 4: Tuesday – Curieuse Island

This morning visit this uninhabited island, once a leper colony and now home to giant tortoises. You optional guided the walk takes you through the mangrove forests. Enjoy a sumptuous BBQ on one of the stunning beaches. Time to enjoy the warm ocean before an exciting Creole night on board.

Day 5: Wednesday – Praslin – Baie St. Anne

Leave Curieuse in the morning sailing to Baie St Anne, Praslin, Disembark for an optional excursion to the famous Vallee de Mai Reserve, a World Heritage site, famous for its Palm trees, the curious Coco de Mer and its rare black parrots. The afternoon is at leisure for snorkelling or optional diving excursions.

Day 6: Thursday – Felicite Island – La Digue

Today you reach Felicite Island, an uninhabited Island offering a morning of great snorkelling in crystal clear waters. After lunch sail to La Digue, a quiet island community where time is standing still: no cars, just bicycles and oxcarts. Your optional oxcart tour will take you to the picturesque Anse de Source d’Argent for a sunset swim on this beautiful beach -  with its stunning granite boulders said to be the most photographed beach in the world.

Day 7: Friday – La Digue – Moyenne Island – Mahe

After a lazy morning in La Digue you sail back towards Mahe stopping at Moyenne Island for your last opportunity for snorkelling and swimming. Later in the afternoon you arrive back at the Eden Marina in Mahe in time for your farewell Captain’s Dinner.

Day 8: Saturday – Mahe  – Depart

After breakfast disembarkation is at 9:00 am.

N.B. The itinerary is subject to wind and sea conditions which change during some months in the Seychelles, making landing on some islands difficult. In such cases the company reserves the right to make itinerary changes.

Cruise fares are per person, per week and include:
